The short version
Nothing but the necessary cookies runs until you make a choice. Refusing is a single click and is as prominent as accepting. You can change the choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
Necessary
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They remember the language you are reading in and the cookie choice you made, so you are not asked again on every page. They do not identify you and they are not shared.
Analytics
Only set if you accept them. They tell us which pages are read, where people leave, and whether the site is fast enough on real devices. Where a tag manager and an analytics property are configured, these are the cookies they set.
Marketing
Only set if you accept them. They let us see which campaign a genuine enquiry came from and measure advertising we pay for. If no advertising platform is configured, no marketing cookie is set at all — accepting the category simply has no effect.
Consent signals
Where Google tools are configured, this site uses Consent Mode v2. Your choice sets the analytics, advertising, advertising user data and advertising personalisation signals, and those signals are sent on every page — not only the first one.
Changing your mind
Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant scripts from running on the next page view; cookies already set by a third party can also be cleared through your browser settings.
